I’m Rachael Ousley, a graphic designer and visual storyteller working across brand identity, editorial design, typography, and image-making. My work is rooted in the tension between structure and disruption. I’m drawn to expressive typography, tactile processes, cultural storytelling, and design that feels lived-in rather than overly polished. Whether I’m developing a brand system, building an editorial composition, or carving type by hand, I’m interested in creating work that communicates something human. Integrity is central to how I design.

I believe powerful creative work can be intimate, visceral, and honest without turning people or their experiences into spectacle. For me, design is a way of giving form to ideas while respecting the humanity behind them. My influences come from everywhere—music, fashion, magazines, poetry, physical materials, and the details of everyday life. That curiosity shapes a practice that moves between refinement and experimentation while staying grounded in a clear point of view.
