Sierra Club Magazine- editorial prompt

Created for ART 431: Illustration, this editorial concept explores how relationships with trees can deepen our understanding of the heart-mind connection. Inspired by the visual language of nature-focused publications such as Sierra, the project combines illustration, editorial design, printmaking, and creative writing.

The interior spread features an original monotype print produced in a studio printmaking course, paired with a poem I wrote to extend the cover’s central theme through language. I developed the concept, created the artwork and written content, and designed the cover and interior spread—integrating typography, imagery, and narrative into a cohesive editorial experience.
